Childbirth 101

This is a 5 week class where we will talk about the third trimester of pregnancy, the process of birth, comfort techniques, medical procedures, cesarean birth, newborns, and postpartum. It is recommended that this class not be started after 33 weeks so there is plenty of time to finish before baby is due.

Understanding Your Newborn

This is a one-time, two hour class offered to parents of newborns. Using Jan Tedder’s H.U.G. Your Baby program, we will discuss how your baby communicates so that you can understand what your baby is trying tell you. Is your baby sending out an SOS? What zone is your baby in? Come learn how to find out!

Breastfeeding Basics

In this class we will discuss the basics of breastfeeding and what normal breastfeeding looks like. We will also discuss some common breastfeeding challenges and how to overcome them. This class is open to expecting moms and moms with newborns. If Dad would also like to learn about breastfeeding, contact me at to schedule a private couple’s class at no additional charge.

Essential Oils 101

In this class we discuss what essential oils are, how they can benefit you and your family, how to use them, and the best way to buy them. We will also learn about the most popular essential oils and their uses.

Essential Oils For the Whole Family

In this class we go into more depth about how oils can benefit your whole family and how to incorporate them into your daily routine.

Essential Oils For Pregnancy, Labor, and Postpartum

In this we discuss specifically how essential oils can be used during the perinatal period. We will discuss what is and is not safe to use during pregnancy, what oils are beneficial to use as a labor coping technique, and what oils are good to use during the postpartum period. This class is good anytime during pregnancy and is open to both moms and dads.
